Who We Are

Founded in 1997, Island Voices Chamber Choir is a mixed, approximately 30 voice auditioned choir. Choristers range widely in age and background and come from a number of different communities in the Comox Valley, Campbell River, and Quadra Island. We rehearse weekly and produce three sets of concerts typically in November and March of each choir year and a “reprise” concert in May, often in collaboration with another choir at an out-of-town location. We also participate in a yearly Christmas Caroling fundraising project and other community outreach events.
Island Voices have embraced “Excellent Music, Excellently Sung” as our motto and our goal. Choristers look forward to rehearsals and concerts as times of learning, musical and personal growth, camaraderie, and fun. Learn more about mission, choristers, and past repertoire. Listen to concerts and check out reviews.
